Allan Radcliffe - Browns Gallery

Born in Halifax in 1950 and now living locally, Allan has been painting for most of his life, and turned professional in 1987, following on from working as a machine engraver.

With 293 prints currently available, there is a varied selection to choose from,
including local, national and international scenes.

Allan works with most art materials, but prefers a mixed medium consisting of
acrylic paint, oil pastel and pencil - which is then varnished.

Apart from landscapes and townscapes, Allan's subjects also include portraits, figures, pets, still life, cartoons and surrealism. He is self taught.

We would be happy to arrange commissions, allowing Allan to paint an original for you of what you want. Prices vary from as little as £67.50 (7"x5") up to £675 (30"x20").
